The Village
Church

St Michael and All Angels is in the heart of the village. Regular Sunday morning worship each week has a small but vibrant congregation with regular team services joining with other village churches. Lots of interesting history plus a particularly interesting event which took place on Christmas Day 1990!

Community Shop

We are very fortunate to have our village shop which has recently marked it's tenth anniversary. All the villagers are encouraged to redirect £5 of their weekly shopping spend to the shop. There is a great range of fresh, tinned and frozen foods, household goods, beer/wine and a post office. Opens 6 days a week.

The Jolly Huntsman

The Jolly Huntsman is in the main village street and just a 3 min walk from the cottage. Excellent ales and a good food menu serving 7 days a week at both lunch time and evening. Do give them a call if you plan to eat as it can be busy. They also have a large B&B business.

Cafe

A visit to the village is not complete without lunch or tea at the Kington Cafe. It's in the village street and you can't miss it. Wonderfully warm and welcoming. Check for opening times.

KSM Club

Just behind the Kington Cafe you will find the KSM club. There is a bar serving non members along with skittles and a full size snooker table (you may need to be a member to play). Fish and chips and curry cooked on the premises to eat-in or take away on a Friday night. Loads of other things going on....just check the blackboard.
